Here’s hoping we can get some of those Good Vibrations
Hiya Skeleton Crew,
Happy hump day!

The first Domino’s Pizza was in Ypsilanti, Michigan—although now that street address features a local burger joint. I guess Domino’s ain’t too precious about their physical locations. I guess that makes sense, though. It’s not like people actually go TO a Domino’s, right? It’s all about the delivery.
That psychiatric case study book I asked about yesterday was the oddly-titled The Three Christs of Ypsilanti. I feel a li’l bad about this one, ’cause a lotta youse guys had very reasonable close-but-no-cigar answers (e.g., “Jesuses” instead a’ “Christs”). Not the best question I’ve ever written, sorry!
Today’s Trivias
Trivia 1
R.I.P. to Brian Wilson, the music legend an’ creative drivin’ force behind the Beach Boys.
Mr. Brian Wilson was the producer ’n’ mastermind a’ what’s probably the most—infamous? legendary?—unfinished album of all time. Can any a’ youse guys tell me what’s the name a’ that album? It was supposed to be the follow up to Pet Sounds but the whole project kinda ... collapsed? I ain’t gonna pretend like I understand all a’ what happened; there’s a truly astonishin’ amount a’ scholarship ’n’ analysis if ya ever feel like doin’ a deep dive into the story yourself.
Mr. Wilson re-recorded a bunch a’ the songs ’n’ released a version a’ this album as a solo effort in ’04. It actually got him his first Grammy:1 Best Rock Instrumental Performance for the track “Mrs. O'Leary's Cow”.
Trivia 2
On the topic a’ recent musical R.I.P.s, can ya tell me what funk legend died just a couple a’ days ago? (Either real name or his stage name is fine for trivia purposes.)
Though he did release some music as a solo artist, he’s best known as the leader of a group that had a #1 album in 1971 with There's a Riot Goin’ On.
OK then
Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
First of only two, which is BANANAS. I mean, only TWO??? Yeeesh. Incidentally, his other Grammy was for Best Historical Album in 2011, for a box set that was chock full a’ highlights ’n’ outtakes from the original recordin’ sessions for the album I’m askin’ about in this question.
